Who I am
I’m Laura — a lifelong learner, explorer, and feeler. It’s etched into my natal chart: a Pisces rising with a Gemini stellium and a Venus cazimi in the fourth house. It mirrors how I move through the world: curious yet grounded, intuitive yet analytical, always seeking to understand the patterns that shape experience. These qualities shape my tarot practice, blending logic with intuition, earth with air, and reflection with clarity.
I grew up on a farm as the youngest of four siblings, surrounded by open skies and quiet fields and close to extended family. I was taught to appreciate to the rhythms of the earth, encouraged to chase my curiosities, and respect boundaries. I carry a deep connection to the land, family, and animals that raised me — the quiet sort of protection and nourishment that lives in the soil itself. My life has always been guided by curiosity, empathy, and a love for meaningful connection.
I share my days with Linus, my fluffy canine companion. He’s an old soul and a sweet boy. He’s my steady companion through life’s toughest downs and a central part to some of the best memories. He reminds me to enjoy the simple things, honor our needs, but push our comfort zone. Our walks are a grounding ritual to reconnect with each other and the world.
To anyone who has seen and understood my natal chart, it’s no surprise that I pursued a career in communication. As a sign language interpreter, I’ve spent years listening deeply and co-creating meaning with care and sensitivity. That same attentiveness lives in my tarot practice. I blend intuition, symbolism, and empathy to help others find clarity and confidence on their path. I’ve spent much of my life listening for what isn’t said — the pauses, the gestures, the language between words. I learned that communication is not just what is said. The message is what’s in between and outside the words: it’s the invisible nuance, shape, and intention of the whole.
Spiritually, I’m drawn to the language of symbols — the moon’s cycles, the whispers of intuition, the archetypes that weave through mythology and tarot alike. My practice is a dialogue between psyche and spirit, between what’s seen and what’s softly felt.
For me, tarot was never about predicting the future. It’s about reflecting the inner wisdom and make choices that empower you to move forward with intention. Every reading is a space for curiosity, reflection, and grounded insight. It’s a tool to curate the life you want to live.
Moonlight Sights was born from a desire to offer clarity, connection, and gentle clarity. My readings are co-interpreted with you, helping you recognize the wisdom already within you, and encouraging you to walk your path with confidence, compassion, and curiosity.
The moon has always called to me — a beacon in the dark, whispering of tides and transformation. She is a reminder that I am a part of something, even when I feel untethered. Her reflection reminds me to keep exploring, to stay curious, and to bravely trust.
If you’re seeking understanding, encouragement, or simply a moment to pause and realign, my readings are a space to do just that. Together, we’ll look for what’s waiting to be seen to fuel your momentum with an open heart.
